This Vintage Japanese Satsuma Style Peacock & Floral Vase is a 7.5 tall ginger jar or urn with a crackle glaze finish and gilt accents. Made of porcelain or ceramic, it features an intricate, colorful hand-decorated scene depicting a pair of regal peacocks syrriybded by vibrant peonies and chrysanthemums, showcasing the traditional Japanese culture and craftsmanship.   The cream-colored porcelain showcases a classic, intentional uniform crackle glaze finish throughout. Brilliant gold gilt (gilding) highlights the peacock feathers, the floral branches, and frames the ornamental border bands along both the rim and base.
