Vintage Crown Staffordshire Marlborough Covered Butter Cheese Dish Fine Bone China Made in England  The Marlborough pattern is an old one and no longer in production. There is nothing like this on any site.   This pattern is produced here on white with teal blue panels edged in gilt and additional gilt flourishes around an on rims.Blue goes with everything and this covered dish will be a charming addition to your festive table. Or use it everyday!   These types of covered dishes were made for butter or cheese but they would also work for a dessert, bowl of nuts or candies or as a small trinket dish for other things not edible.
