Vintage Zassenhaus Mokka German Coffee Grinder Beechwood Manual Mill
Zassenhaus
Beautiful vintage Zassenhaus Mokka manual coffee grinder, believed to date to approximately the 1950s, with its classic light beechwood body and compact “knee grinder” design. Made in Germany by Zassenhaus, a long-established manufacturer known for its traditional coffee mills, this grinder features a sturdy metal crank with a wooden handle and a convenient pull-out grounds drawer with black knob. Inside is an adjustable steel burr mechanism, allowing coffee beans to be ground to a fine consistency. The slim, compact form is characteristic of the traditional German “knee grinder” style, designed to be held securely between the knees while operating the crank. Beyond being functional, this is a wonderful piece of vintage kitchen history and would look fantastic displayed alongside other antique and mid-century coffee equipment.
