These ceramic items are vintage character jugs manufactured primarily between the 1940s and 1980s.The items in the image are two distinct styles of collectible pottery heads (often called Toby jugs or character mugs):Left Jug: This design is modeled after Sir Francis Drake (often cataloged by collectors as Royal Doulton style D6115). Production for various sizes of this character ran from 1941 to 1960.Right Jug: This piece is a Sea Captain / Nautical Mariner character handle mug. Similar sea captain designs from British pottery workshops were extensively produced during the 1960s and 1970s. please see pictures for details and measurements, items are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
