Vintage Italian Florentine Gilt Tray Green Gold Ornate Rococo Tole Style 13”

Description
Beautiful vintage Florentine-style decorative tray featuring an ornate raised design in aged gold with rich olive green accents. The scalloped, scrollwork border and elaborate central medallion give it wonderful Old World Italian character. Approximately 13 inches in diameter. This piece has a wonderfully authentic, heavily distressed finish with areas of paint and gilt loss, scratches, crazing and surface wear throughout. There is also age-related cracking/separation along portions of the decorative rim, as shown in the photos. These imperfections contribute to its beautifully timeworn patina and are reflected in the price. A striking accent for an Italianate, French country, English country, Old World, maximalist or collected traditional interior. Beautiful displayed on a coffee table, console, dresser, or layered into a vignette. For decorative use.
