Vintage Brass Anchor Trivet Footed Etched Floral Hot Plate Nautical Decor 8”

Beautiful vintage solid brass trivet featuring an ornate pierced design, decorative engraving and a distinctive anchor-shaped handle.  The round body features intricate openwork with a geometric starburst design at the center, surrounded by a scalloped border engraved with delicate botanical and foliate motifs. The trivet is elevated on three small decorative feet, allowing it to be used as a hot plate, pot stand or decorative tabletop accent.  The elongated anchor-shaped top also makes this a striking piece of nautical or coastal decor and allows it to be easily hung for display when not in use.  Measures approximately 8” from top to bottom.  Vintage condition with surface scratches, small areas of discoloration, tarnish, patina and other wear consistent with age and use.
