[Serial Number: CS21032955] Made in 2021.

This is a used item, purchased on May 3, 2026, at Ishibashi Music Yokohama store.

Speaking of Jazzmasters, I once bought a Fender Japan JM-66 as soon as it was released, but I was disappointed by its flashy but thin sound. Later, when I bought an American Vintage 62, I was surprised by the difference in pickup output. It seems the number of coil windings was vastly different.

This was my first Squier, and with that memory in mind, I was impressed by its output, similar to the American Vintage, and its authentic Jazzmaster sound. In today's market where vintage guitars are highly sought after, it's almost sad to see the JM-66 from that era selling for 120,000 to 150,000 yen.

While there are many affordable and excellent Jazzmasters now, I believe the Classic Vibe series stands out among them. Some people unfairly say that cheap Jazzmasters don't produce the authentic sound, but this one is far superior to the Japan Fender JM-66 from that era. If you're not fixated on the Fender decal, it's also excellent as a custom base.

This is a personal preference, but one of the Jazzmaster's weak points is its weight. It's said to be 15% larger than a Stratocaster, so it's unavoidable, and weight was the reason I previously sold one.
In that regard, this particular unit is excellent at 3.4Kg. (Photo 10)

I haven't discussed the guitar body much, but since it was recently purchased, there are no issues with its condition. There are some minor scuffs and signs of use, but I believe it's in good condition.

Included accessories are the essential genuine tremolo arm, and a relatively sturdy aftermarket gig bag (Photo 8). I will include the truss rod, manual, and warranty card in the pocket.

After placing it in this gig bag, I will pack it securely in the box from when I purchased another guitar (Photo 9) and ship it free of charge from Tokyo.
