Bauer Pottery Chartreuse Casserole Lid Copper Wood Stand California

A vintage Bauer Pottery covered casserole in a bright chartreuse glaze, paired with its copper-tone serving frame and sculptural wood handles. The simple rounded pottery form and contrasting mixed-material carrier are characteristic of Bauer's midcentury California kitchenware. Chartreuse was introduced to Bauer's palette around the late 1940s or early 1950s.  Measurements: Approximately 7½ diameter casserole; approximately 11 overall width including handles; approximately 4½ high with lid.  Vintage condition with age-related wear to the metal carrier, including oxidation, spotting and surface marks. Wood handles show light wear. Pottery appears very good in the photographs; please review photos closely for glaze and surface condition.
