Set of 2 Rice Bowls with Fruit and Leaf Pattern
14.52 $
Description
Set of 2 white and purple rice bowls with beautiful fruit and leaf patterns.
- Design: Fruit and leaf pattern
- Shape: Round, shallow rice bowls
- Size: Diameter 11.5cm, Height 5.5cm
These are two items from my parents' home, from a collection of small items.
The word 光琳 (Kōrin) is written on the center of the underside of the bowls, so they are likely from Kōrin Kiln, a Hasami ware producer, but this is not confirmed.
They appear to have been purchased for guests, but were stored away and hardly used.
While not flashy, each bowl features a hand-painted leaf design inside and on the sides, giving them a warm and elegant feel.
Thank you for your understanding that these are stored items before purchasing. ?
