VTG 1999 Arthur Court 19" Aluminum Leaf Leopard/Cheetah Oblong Serving Tray

Arthur Court Designs, founded in 1976 in California, became renowned for creating distinctive sand-cast aluminum serveware featuring nature-inspired motifs and whimsical animal figures. The company's pieces were handcrafted using traditional sand-casting techniques, resulting in unique textures and details that made each piece slightly different. Court's designs gained popularity in the 1980s and 1990s as statement pieces for entertaining and home décor. Arthur Court pieces appeal to collectors of mid-to-late 20th-century American decorative arts, vintage serveware enthusiasts, and those who appreciate functional art with a touch of whimsy. The combination of nature themes with playful animal sculptures creates conversation pieces that bridge the gap between practical serving items and decorative objects. These trays are particularly valued by collectors of aluminum giftware and those seeking distinctive vintage entertaining pieces that reflect the aesthetic sensibilities of the 1980s-1990s era.
