Description
Vintage ceramic pitcher from the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. features a striking Spirit of Seventy-Six American eagle and flag motif. This two-tone stoneware-style piece transitions from a rich chocolate brown glaze at the top to a creamy off-white base. The front is adorned with a detailed graphic of a golden eagle clutching American flags, based on the Carved Wooden Eagle by an unknown artist. A sturdy square handle and a classic pouring spout make it both a functional serving piece and a patriotic decorative accent for any Americana collection.
